The Brandywine Red Maple is a great addition to any landscape. It is a moderately fast-growing tree, growing at a rate of up to 3 feet per year. It is extremely hardy and easy to grow due to being adaptable to many different types of soils. Once established, it can tolerate drought and short periods of dry, hot weather with no damage. It can mature to 50 feet in height with a canopy spread of up to 30 feet and will make a good shade tree in spring and summer months. In the fall months, the leaves will turn a gorgeous dark red color and then to a purplish color and stands out.
