Black Willow Tree - Salix Nigra


The Black Willow tree is a medium-sized deciduous tree. The branches are long and slender with a reddish tint to them. The leaves are long, thin and can reach lengths of up to 6 cm. The bark from this tree has been very beneficial for joint pain, many people put this tree bark in tea and drink it to help relieve pain. The average lifespan of this tree can be up to 100 years, but most live around 65 feet. This tree loves moist, wet soil.
