Red Cedar Tree - Juniperus Virginiana
Its name is misleading since it is a juniper and not a cedar. Its range is from Nova Scotia to northern Florida, and west to the Dakotas and Texas. They can grow in any type of soil, and will take over abandoned fields and fence rows. When red cedars are found growing in a forest, you can be sure they started growing when it was an open field.
ReviewsJanI cannot overstate how much I love purchasing plants from this online nursery! My little tree already has its first bloom on it, and is extremely healthy. Will be a beautiful addition to my garden when it grows up!
