Lark Spur - Delphinium
Larkspur is a member of the Buttercup family with a biological complexity that rivals the orchid. Its blooms cover a broad spectrum and may present as blue, white, or violet. It is distinguishable among other wildflowers for its loose vertical blooms atop a singular stalk. Larkspur is a popular cut flower that grows best in cool, moist weather. These are very eye-catching plants. They should be watered regularly and spaced approximately 8 inches apart. Soil should remain moist and plants divided every four years. Adds visual appeal to any landscape.
