Mountain Mint is a perennial wildflower that will begin blooming in midsummer and last until the early months of autumn. The blooms will provide much-appreciated color in the autumn months when other plants are beginning to die back. The blooms are pink, and the foliage is a darker green which gives a great contrast for the blooms. Pollinators such as bees and some of the most beautiful butterflies will be attracted to this plant. It is a rather large plant, and this will need to be taken into account when planting. It is commonly called the Hoary Mountainmint plant. They do well in dry to moist soils which have good drainage.
